Booked Into Your Open Weeks
Send the gaps in your reservations along with the estimate request. We set the install inside one of them, and because most rooms take a day or less, a short turnover is often enough.

The town's own land use plan counts 1,104 permanent residents and a peak seasonal population of roughly 28,844. Housing follows the same pattern. The Census Bureau's 2020-2024 American Community Survey lists 73 percent of North Topsail Beach's 2,785 homes as seasonal, and the plan describes about 78 percent as vacant "and potentially being utilized for short-term rentals."
For a wallpaper job, the date matters before the paper does. A week in July may be full of guests, while a week in February may have nobody in the unit at all. Send the open dates from your booking calendar with the estimate request, and we place the install in one of those gaps. Since most rooms take a day or less, a short gap can be enough. We're usually booked two to three weeks out, so send off-season dates early.
With nearly three homes in four held for part-year use, the owner may be away on install day. A property manager, cleaner or lockbox can let the crew in, and close-up photos of the seams reach you before we leave.
The building can matter too. More than a quarter of the town's homes sit in buildings of ten or more units, and nearly one in five in buildings of fifty or more. If yours is one of them, ask management what it requires from contractors and pass it along.
Customers usually come to us with the paper already picked, either their own choice or a designer's specification. In a unit that guests use, that choice deserves a second look. The install itself is done by W-2 installers on our payroll, never a subcontractor, and a powder room plus an accent wall is a typical day for them. Our wallpaper installation page sets out the full method, from the repeat to the final seam.
Roll quantities figured from the pattern repeat, if you haven't ordered
Any paper already on the wall taken off, and the surface repaired underneath
Surface prep matched to the wall
A level vertical reference for the first strip
The pattern matched seam by seam across the whole room
Inside corners split by hand on a straightedge, not wrapped
Cleanup, then a final check in person or by photo

A bathroom that guests use every week sees more splashing, towels and hands than one used a few weekends a year. If you haven't ordered, a scrubbable vinyl usually holds up better there than grasscloth or an unpasted designer paper, which suit a bedroom accent wall that guests rarely touch. We count the rolls for whichever paper you choose. Buy one extra roll and store it in the owner's closet, labeled with the room. If a strip is ever damaged, a replacement from the same print run will match.

Send the gaps in your reservations along with the estimate request. We set the install inside one of them, and because most rooms take a day or less, a short turnover is often enough.

You may be in another state on install day. Your manager or a lockbox lets the crew in, and close-ups of every seam and corner reach your phone before we pack up.

Still choosing? We'll tell you which papers stand up to a busy rental bathroom and which belong in a room guests barely touch, then count the rolls from the repeat so you order once.

Every installer is a W-2 employee under our $2M general liability, workers' comp and auto coverage. If your building's manager wants a certificate on file, tell us before the date is set.
From the first conversation to the finished room.
01Request the instant estimate, attach a photo of the wall, and list the dates the unit has no guests booked.
02We match an opening on our calendar, usually two to three weeks out, to one in yours, ideally in the quieter months.
03We phone before driving out. Your manager, cleaner or lockbox provides access, and the crew strips any old paper, preps the wall and hangs the new one.
04Seam and corner close-ups come to you before we leave. The one-year workmanship guarantee starts that day.
The instant estimate gives you a firm figure for your room. We price each job rather than posting a rate per roll, because two rooms of the same size can differ a lot once the paper and fixtures are counted. These set the number:
Wall area and ceiling height
Paper type, since vinyl, grasscloth and unpasted designer papers each hang differently
The pattern repeat, which drives cuts and waste
Cutouts around vanities, mirrors and towel bars
Old paper that has to come off first
Fitting the install between guest stays shouldn't change the price of the work. If you're weighing a vinyl against a designer paper for a rental bath, ask for both prices on one estimate. Once we quote a number, we honor it. Paper bought elsewhere isn't part of it, and military households get 10% off the installation.

Repainting the rest of the unit? Paint and paper can come from one company.

Still deciding on a paper for the rental? We can order trade papers and work out the rolls.

From our Wilmington base, we serve North Topsail Beach and the surrounding Onslow County area, plus the rest of the coastal Carolinas corridor.
Send the room and your open dates for an estimate.
